FYI that this may happen to some of our tenants today. If you experience an outage, there is nothing that we can do and you do not need to call in a work order. When the power comes back on and you experience difficulties, then please call in a work order.Attention Brown County Residents. Northwestern Energy and Northern Electric Coop have informed us that there may be rolling blackouts today. You can expect the outages to last between 45 minutes and an hour. FYISouth Dakotans are asked to conserve energy use for the next 48 hours during the widespread extreme cold across the Midwest. Please turn down thermostats to 68-degrees or lower; turn off and unplug non-essential lights and appliances; and avoid using large appliances such as ovens and washing machines. Small changes can make a big difference and it is going to take all of us working together to get through this. Policy on Basement Bedroom Windows

for Section 8 Voucher Housing Quality Standards.

All bedrooms located in basements must meet the following window criteria:

Window must have a minimum clear width opening of twenty (20) inches.
Window must have a minimum clear height opening of twenty-four (24) inches.
Total clear opening area has to be minimum of 5.7 square feet. (WxH) divided by 144 = total square feet.
Bottom windowsill can not be more than forty-four (44) inches from the floor.
